  • Biography

    • 2013-

      • In order to promote ITS Connect (that is V2X system deployed in Japan), I'm supporting the design of highly accurate measurement technologies (including GNSS) for V2X pedestrian devices as well as small and low-energy DSRC semiconductors. At the same time, I am responsible for introducing the ITS Connect overseas and have been driving FoT projects in Taiwan, the Philippines, India and other countries.

      • I had contributed that co-existing study between wireless power transmission (WPT) of electric vehicle (EV) using 85kHz and adjacent frequency systems.

    • 1992-
      2012

I joined Sanyo Electric Co.,Ltd. During this period, I was posted to the ATR Optical Communication Research Institute and Panasonic Corporation.

      • I developed the world's first Multi-User Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MU-MIMO) technology that is used in commercial PHS base station from 2001.

      • I developed adaptive array antenna for WiFi. and I was representative of Japanese consumer electronics companies group in standardizing IEEE802.11n in order to input requirements from CE industry. I was a Vice Chair of the Wi-Fi Alliance TGn CE marketing group.

      • I designed a single chip, OBU, and RSU that are compatible with the ITS Connect. As a representative of the ITS industry, I contributed co-existing studies between 760MHz ITS connect and adjacent frequency systems (the broadcasting, the cellular system, radio microphone, and so on) so that the 760MHz band is assigned for Japan ITS.

  • Commendation/Memberships

    • Leader, ITS Taiwan Field Operational Test Support Task Force, ITS Japan

    • Young Engineer Award from IEEE AP-S Tokyo Chapter on 1998

    • 9 awards of best patent from SANYO Electric Co., Ltd during 1999-2004.
